RIM’s BlackBerry PlayBook To Launch April 10th?

RIM announced the Blackberry PlayBook a while back, at the time they didn’t give any indication on when it would go on sale, we have heard rumors before about a launch date for the PlayBook, but now it looks like it may launch on the 10th of April.

Blackberry PlaybookThe guys over at the BGR have been told by a number of sources that the BlackBerry Playbook will go on sale in the US on April the 10th, and have also ben told that the OS will go to GM on the 31st of March.

As a reminder the BlackBerry Playbook will come with a 7 inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, processing is provided by a 1GHz dual core processor and it will also come with 1GB of RAM.

On top of that the PlayBook will also come with 802.11 a/b/g/n WiFi, DLNA, HDMI and a microUSB port. The PlayBook also features dual cameras with a five megapixel camera on the rear for video recording and taking photos and a three megapixel camera on the front for video chat
